Informally known by the name of the capital of the island, Las Palmas, this is one of the busiest airports in Spain. It has two terminals, one for EU and mainland domestic flights, and one for non-EU and inter-island arrivals and departures. The airport is frequented by many international airlines, including various seasonal and low fares services. Due to its very long runways, it also accepts interstellar arrivals from time to time, in the form of the NASA Space Shuttle!
