General Terms & Conditions

Please consult the specific supplier terms and conditions which are available with every quotation and at the booking stage.

All supplier Terms and conditions are specific to that supplier. The terms and conditions below are general Terms and Conditions

When you purchase Cancellation Protection you are only liable to forfeit the following percentages (%)

55 days or more prior to pick up date 10% of total cost is forfeit in the event of a cancellation or a minimum of Euro 150.
54 days to 40 days prior to pick up date 35 % of total cost is forfeit in the event of a cancellation
Less than 40 days prior to pick up date 100 % of total cost is forfeit in the event of a cancellation
Pick up date day or no-show 100 % of total cost is forfeit in the event of a cancellation

No refund for late departure or early return.

All cancellations request MUST be advised in writing toWMHIRE Ltd (address below) and it is the date of receipt of the requests which determines the number of days before a booking pick up date

Note:
Cancellation of a booking incurs the loss of all monies paid unless Cancellation Protection (as outlined above) is purchased at the time of reservation.
Any alterations after booking will incur a Euro 50 fee.
Your booking time is specific please contact the rental depot if you are going to be delayed.
All rental depots are closed on Sundays and in some cases in the South of France on Mondays.
Also some depots close at 11am on a Saturday.There is no service out of hours.

Should you not choose to purchase cancellation protection, no refunds will be given at any stage if you cancel your booking or do not adhere to the terms of payment stated above.

Payment options for WMHIRE Ltd at reservation stage:

WMHIRE LTD accepts all major credit and debit cards.

WMHIRE Ltd accept all major credit and debit cards there are no credit card charges. All prices are transparent there are no hidden charges in our prices. You may also pay by bank transfer. Contact us for bank details. Please advise in advance us of any payments sent via bank transfer.
No Bank transfer payment can be accepted if the booking starts in less than 7 days.

A booking can only be confirmed upon full payment receipt in our bank account.

Please note you will still need to place your credit card details on the form in order for it to submit; there will be no charges made to your card. You should also note in the comment field that you wish to pay via Bank Transfer. We will supply the required Bank Details that you will need.

IMPORTANT – Bookings must be made at least 7 DAYS in advance if you wish to pay via Bank Transfer.

Please note that when you pick up your motorhome, you will sign a contract with the rental supplier. In the case of accidents and/or disputes, you should contact the depot or the Head Office immediately. We will endeavour to facilitate communications, but your contract is with the supplier. Due to circumstances beyond the control of the rental depots, it may be necessary to substitute motorhome models. The depot will endeavour to give you the same type of motorhome or free upgrade.

General Statement Privacy Policy

WMHIRE LTD fully respects your right to privacy, and will not collect or publish any personal information about you through this website without your clear permission. Any personal information which you volunteer to WMHIRE LTD will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Acts, 1988 – 2003.

Collection and use of personal information
WMHIRE LTD does not collect any personal data about you on this website, apart from information which you volunteer (for example by e-mailing us, by using our online feedback form or by making a credit card booking). Any information which you provide in this way is not made available to any third parties, and is used by WMHIRE LTD only in line with the purpose for which you provided it.

Collection and use of technical information
This website uses temporary “session” cookies which enable a visitor’s web browser to remember which pages on this website have already been visited. If you use the ‘Remember me’ option when logging in to WMHIRE LTD website, a cookie is placed on your computer with an encrypted id to remember your credentials. No other information is stored in this cookie. Visitors can use this website with no loss of functionality if cookies are disabled from the web browser. Technical details in connection with visits to this website are logged by our internet service provider for our statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to personally identify website visitors. The technical details logged are confined to the following items:

Glossary of technical terms used
